Right Education Foundation (REF UGANDA) is a registered charity Non Government Organisation operating in Uganda. It started its operation in 2016 and got her legal licences in 2017. REF UGANDA was first registered by the Uganda Registration Service Bureau in 2017 as a company limited by guarantee under the registration number80020000556346and also by the NGO Board permit no INDP 000550NB. REF has her registered office in Kisugu – Makindye Division, Kampala District and operates country wide.

We focus more on creating an environment where every child can access quality education irrespective of the family back ground, gender, age or any other factor. We help the vulnerable children, street kids and orphans get scholastic materials, uniforms, shoes and sanitary pads to enable them stay in schools. When it comes to a girl child, we put much more extra interest as girls have become prey to men who eargerly wait for them to drop out of schools so that they can marry them.

We also work with community health centers to fight the preventable diseases amog the school children. These diseases include; HIV/AIDS, malaria and nutritional diseases like kwashiorkor and marasmus. REF empowers the youths sustainability programmes through skills training and development. Since teachers do a tremendous job of teaching the world, we also dedicated our time to train teachers on financial literacy which led to the formation of Teachers Investment Club to instil saving and investment culture amongst the teachers.
